Installation & Integration Guidelines
- Mounting Support: Since these heaters do not have flanges, they must be supported by ceramic or metal brackets (bulkheads) to prevent sagging, especially for long “W” shapes.
- Bending Radius: If you plan to bend straight heaters yourself, ensure the bend radius (R) is at least 3x the tube diameter to prevent sheath cracking or insulation breakage.
- Expansion Gap: Allow room for thermal expansion. Do not rigidly fix both ends if the heater is very long; use a sliding bracket on one end.
- Terminal Protection: Keep the terminal ends cool and dry. High humidity can cause moisture ingress into the MgO. We seal our heaters, but proper enclosure protection is recommended.
