Installation & Handling Guidelines
- Thread Sealing: For tapered threads (such as NPT or BSPT), apply high-temperature PTFE thread tape or liquid pipe sealant to the male threads to ensure a leak-proof hydraulic seal.
- Torque Wrench Application: Always place your wrench on the solid hex nut section when threading the sensor into place. Never twist or rotate the sensor by grabbing the probe sheath, transition cap, or cable, as this will sever internal wiring.
