While mechanical dial thermostats offer rough control (±10°C), this Digital temperature controller utilizes advanced PID (Proportional-Integral-Derivative) algorithms to maintain process temperatures with ±1°C precision.

Designed as a “Plug & Play” solution for MRO and R&D users, this Heater controller box requires no electrical wiring knowledge. Simply plug your heater into the output socket, place the sensor in your process, and plug the main cord into the wall. It instantly upgrades a basic heater into a precision thermal system.

Mechanical bimetal thermostats work like a light switch: Full ON until hot, then Full OFF. This causes temperatures to swing wildly (e.g., Set 100°C, swings 90°C-110°C).

Our PID controller pulses the power rapidly as it approaches the target. It “learns” the heat loss of your system, keeping the temperature rock-steady (e.g., 99.8°C – 100.2°C).

6. FAQ

Q: Can I use this with any heater?

A: You can use it with any resistive heater (Silicone, Cartridge, Ceramic, Band Heater) as long as the total amperage does not exceed 15A. Do not use with inductive loads like motors.

Q: Where do I put the sensor?

A: The sensor tip must be in contact with the area you want to control (e.g., the liquid inside the tank, or the surface of the pipe). We include a standard K-type thermocouple with a 2-meter wire.

Q: Does it retain settings after power loss?

A: Yes. The internal memory saves your Set Value (SV) and PID parameters. When power returns, it resumes control automatically.
